It's come off again! Has anyone else had this problem, I am on the third or fourth cap and they all seem to come loose eventually.
I seem to remember that years ago when I had a Stag that the caps seemed to be made of a thicker and more rigid plastic than the ones that I can get today
and took a lot of effort to remove them - but they never fell off! I have had some success with sticking them on with RTV but they eventually fall off. I
am reluctant to use a more permanent glue because then the switch is bound to need replacing!

Depends where you purchase these from. There are some cheap and nasty repros.
However, the one I fitted from Fitchetts has never flinched in all the time I have had it fitted.

Thanks, I'll give them a call - I don't remember who I bought the others from, I thing they were all from different suppliers but seem the same flimsy
design.
