13/60 gearbox is 3-synchro, Spitfire MkIV has a 4-synchro version. Externally very similar, but the output flange is larger and deeper on the MkIV box,
making it slightly longer overall.
Basic front suspension is the same - upper & lower wishbones, steering arms, vertical link, trunnion, hub, disc etc. The modern replacement shock
absorbers are shared between both vehicles, though they were originally specified differently. Beware the suspension mounting turrets, the Spitfire
versions are different to the ones used on the rest of the family and sit the engine lower,
