I have a spare herald chassis hanging around, i would like to put it to use and i was wondering what my options are for kits, i wouldnt mind something i
can take to the track so a slightly bigger bay maybe needed

Not many now-a-days. SVA has seen to that!
best bet is to turn the chassis into a bed and go have a lie down and think about buying a ready finished and roadworthy car!

rotoflex is the wishbone rear suspension on gt6/vit mk2
depending on who you talk to the best or only 2nd best c.f. swing spring
SVA testing: buy the dvla/mot guidebook on regulations and pick your way carefully through the regs
