  Best circuit. Cadwell full
  Worst Circuit. Rockingham
  Most frightening bend: Paddock Hill @ Brands Hatch
  Worst Paddock: Brands Hatch
  Best Paddock: Croft (for bonfires) but worst for club house!
  Best Breakfast: Spa
  Worst Food: Up North
  Hardest circuit to find: Oulton (No signs)

    Best circuit. Oulton Park full circuit
    Worst Circuit. Rockingham
    Most frightening bend: Coppice - Cadwell full circuit - flat out and hope no one's dropped oil - believe me it hurts if they have.
    Worst Paddock: Snetterton
    Best Paddock: Castle Combe - a bit like a barbie round your mates'
    Best Breakfast: Noreen Wolfe's anywhere although run a close second by Jon Wolfe's eaten on the guardrail at Spa watching Lola T70s race past - sublime!
    Worst Food: Le Mans when the ACO awarded a catering franchise in the mid '90s thank goodness they reverted back to free competition after a couple of years.
    Hardest circuit to find: Pembrey in the middle of the night - my UK map doesn't go that far and there's no lighting or signs (that I can read anyway)
    Easiest circuit to find: Oulton Park - used to live 8 miles from it and found myself there most Saturdays in the summer

      Best circuit Goodwood? Please explain! Were you influenced by a atmosphere of the 'back to the Fifties' extravaganza? It's nice enough but as a course doesn't copme near some others.
      
      Best circuit. Cadwell full.
      Worst Circuit. Lydden in the old days, when the toilets ran with you know what, and the 'tyrewall to the start finish straight is filled with solid chalk. Ask Dave Bearsdley how soft and bouncy it is.
      Most frightening bend: Druids @ Oulton. It's all wrong which ever line you take.
      Worst Paddock: Rockingham - at least the public car park we were in this year, thanks to the MMOs (masive motorhome owners). No services, only the stands toilets and most of them were locked up. No PA. Not even a burger bar. And a half mile walk to the race offices (that I had to go three times is another story)
      Best Paddock: Castle Combe. But, at Rockingham, I camped in the boondocks by the outer fence. I watched rabbits and kestrels in the gathering dusk, and heard larks in the morning. (You can do that at Cadwell, too!)
      Best Breakfast:Cadwell. Again!
      Worst Food: Silverstone, without a doubt. Endless burger vans and the cafetaria was no better. Except for the MGCC reception on Saturday night.

      I've got to get Croft in somewhere - Best improved circuit!
      AND,
      where else have you Spitfire owners been able to line up next to a REAL, FLYING Spitfire?
      
      Best/favourite corner? Shell hairpin at Oulton. Mini-Karossel, get right and its a joy.

        Worst Circuit. Brands Indy, OK Paddock hill bend is good but its just rubbish for the rest.
        Most frightening bend: Paddock hill.
        Worst Paddock: Snetterton, changing driveshafts jacked up on lumpy sand is a bitch.
        Best Paddock: Castle Combe.
        Best Breakfast: Mrs Wolfes porridge, otherwise Mallory with proper mugs for the tea.
        Worst Food: Silverstone, polystyrene plate AND plastic cutlery whats with that?
        Hardest circuit to find: Oulton.
        Easiest circuit to find: Castle Combe, M4, turn right, tis simple.
        
        and an addition
        
        Best Crowd. Castle combe always in the thousands, though it is a concern that they gather at the most crashed corner

          hmm, *thinks* I've still not been to all the circuits and some of the others I've only been to once so I may change my mind on some of these later...
          
          Best circuit. Cadwell Full. Actually, at the moment, I seem to be one of the few people that actually likes Rockingham too.
          Worst Circuit. Probably Snetterton but I'd like to try it with a working clutch sometime.
          Most frightening bend: Any one that is approached in last place with the leading five cars right behind and fighting for position.
          Worst Paddock: Probably Rockingham due to a) nowhere to put a tent and b) the outer paddock has no tannoy (and race control is a short drive away) but Croft is pretty close behind (3 toilets for the whole paddock and no hot water. No tap that wasn't labelled "not drinking water" last time I was there either).
          Best Paddock: Castle Coombe, maybe Cadwell runs it a close second.
          Best Breakfast: Mallory.
          Worst Food: Silverstone, polystyrene plate AND plastic cutlery whats with that? Agreed, and expensive too.
          Hardest circuit to find: Mallory. Despite having been there loads of times, far more than anywhere else, I usually still somehow manage to get on the wrong road at some point on the way.
          Easiest circuit to find: Donington although Croft, Oulton and Silverstone aren't bad (The first two only because they're my nearest circuits).

            Gentlemen,
            
            How can you argue with such a thought out and researched list. (It took me at least five minutes)
            
            But I went to Croft a few years ago about a week after they opened up the new circuit, and yep I loved it..(Mind you I won the race)...The worst circuit cannot possibly be Lydden for a number of reasons so much action in a lap with no straights, fantastic spectator viewing...cheap races...Mind you the paddock is horrible.(Slightly influenced here by it being my local track, and winning a few races). The Indy circuit at Brands has had the bum ripped out of it by re-aligning Graham Hill Bend...but nothing can relieve the boredom of the National Circuit at Silverstone. As for Cadwell it just scares the out of me.
            But I think that the historic circuit @ Rockingham is superb.
            
            Few more for you.
            
            Best excuse for not winning. Counted the laps and slowed down to take the flag...only to find the race was a tad longer than expected.... passed by half the field...No definately not me...
            
            Worst overtaking manouvre...Into the Melbourne hairpin at Donnington having forgotten that the hairpin is actually a 180 degree bend....Cannot remember who did that...but my overalls needed extra cleaning.
            
            Worst bit of planning.....Turning up for a race meeting at Snetterton, to find loads of motor bikes and no cars....Still I was only a week early.....
            
            I am actually thinking of starting Pillocks Anonymous anyone else want to join?

              I used to agree with you about Silverstone National being rather yawn inducing but after an hours running on the Birkett and even more on the Walter Hayes weekend I have come to appreciate it. It may be wide and open but a perfect line yields results and one day I will try Copse flat just to see if I can. I also like Rockingham, the infield "flop flop" section is superb, if they build up the kerbs here I'm positve I can get onto two wheels!

              Best excuse for not winning, "well I would have done if not for all those cars in front of me".
              
              Worst overtaking manoevere, out braking a TR7 into Druids that had sideswiped me off the Grid at Brands without actually using the brakes at all. Bye Bye TSSC Championship 2003.

              Starting the 2001 Croft race in reverse and overtaking the 7th and 8th rows of the grid - from the 6th
              
              Worst bit of planning, doing an ultra streamling job on my bonnet reducing the intake grill size the week before running the car for the longest time ever in the Birkett race. After spinning off on my own boiled fluids and being dragged out the kitty litter backwards the error of my ways was all too apparent.
