Not sure if this is the right place to post this message or even if it's relevant but have just read on the 10 tenths (national and club racing forum) that
Gerry Marshall passed away yesterday whilst testing at Silverstone.
The only reason I mention this is that I first watched him race his Aston Martin at my first Brands Hatch experience watching the TSSC race a couple of
years back and Gerry Marshall was competing in one of the other events on the same day. He appeared to be a very well respected and liked person.

That's really sad news, I've seen Gerry in Big Bertha and Baby Bertha. Smooth was not his style. Take a car, throw it at a corner then put right
whatever happened.
I also once saw him towing a caravan through a timed chicane, frightening stuff.
A truly 'big' man and one of my heroes.

A sad loss. A great club racer who died doing what he loved. i belive im right in saying he also raced a Dolomite Sprint, but will be best
remembered for his vauxhall's
