My race licence arrived this morning so it's official now

And I've just been to visit the guy that's building my engine and that's looking very nice too...

I'm starting to think I might actually be able to see the end of my build project.

Of course the light at the end of the tunnel could be the headlight of an approaching train...

    I'm sort of half *spectator*, half *willabee* at the mo.... imagine how confusing for me that is !
    
    Are you going to post us some pics of your car soon Mik ? or is it going to be like when they unveil the new F1 cars at the beginning of the season ?

        I just took my engine out, PAINTED and fitted a door and a whole heap of other stuff _in_the_snow_

        Hmmm - as I have/am done/doing the spectating bit and declared my insanity for wanting to also join the "Madhatters Circle" does that make me a sort of *triple willabee* then as I have all the necessary ingredients but kinda split between the 3 *donor* cars that are currently "resting" in my back garden/shed/utility room etc!!?? The fun/anguish/cursing/sleepless nights etc haven't started yet!!

          This morning i did a test session at Mallory in the snow, well a tiny dusting off snow but it classed as my first snow event .Looks like mallory paddock is been treated to a nice bit off tarmacing for the new season should keep the number off broken windscreens down. So thats one less expense to worry about just got to pay for a new manifold after i managed to crack mine today

            Testing! thats an unfair advantage, have'nt we banned that in the regs yet.
            
            So how did it go, Gerards flat?
            
            I'm also very excited, car just about complete with a pair of new tyres due today. Then it will be on its first test around the Frome bypass as soon as the nightime air temperatures pick up a bit. Having no windscreen has its downsides in winter

              Testing went well managed to equal the class A lap record in a 86bhp at the flywheel car with a split manifold. So very pleased indeed just cant wait for the start of the season not long now.

                Championship registration came back today - I notice John Thomason is registered for class A so you might have some competition for your lap record there...Although John is also listed in Class C.
                
                Anyone know how progress is going with JT's new car by the way?
