Which issue is ADU 1B in?
ps. my Herald 1200 Convertible with 1147cc engine and twin Weber 40DCOE's etc, basically in Le Mans Tune, managed a recorded top speed of 110mph at
Bruntingthorpe Proving Ground back in May 1986, geeze 20 years ago!!!
I also got a speeding ticket in May 1984 on the M4 at a recorded 93mph, (he let me off the 3 mph !!!), so it's a good job he didn't know that I had
slowed down from over 100mph just up the road...it was early on a Sunday morning near Chippenham on an otherwise deserted motorway.
If my old Herald could do 110mph, then I am sure that a Le Mans Spitfire with alloy and GRP panels, alloy wheels, lightened chassis, little interior
trim etc, as well as lower ground clearance, better power to weight ratio, centre of gravity & aerodynamics, should do a bit better!

It would have been the issue out in April (so the one they call May) i expect, i posted the message while the magazine was on sale.
