Stripped the car down and found the half shaft was fine but the hub had sheered. Has this happened to anyone else ? lucky it lasted the race.

Yes, I did it about 10 years ago and Kevin Ginger did one too. The fix is to use TR7 4 speed flanges. Same taper and has M12 studs - much stronger.
About £20 each from Robsport.

A sure sign you have too much power. You must tell me how you get that Honda SpecR engine to look like a class A spit engine some time.
