Cadwell Scandal?

All,
Despite my absence, informers tell me of Steward's enquiries at the Cadwell meeting and a Triumph driver's exclusion from results in the endurance race. Just what we did NOT need after the recent allegations that the TSSC/TRR Championship is no better than banger racing, especially in a race involving non-Triumph drivers. Comments from anyone who was there?

Take a look here, the post starts about an oil spillage (which was no problem) but goes on to comment about some driving in the Thoroughbreads race.

The TR driver involved is not really a regular contender in our series.

  I'd seen the 'oil spill' part of that thread, looking for news of Cadwell but the rest was posted later and I had not returned to it since hearing about the rest of the meeting. Most everyone there seems to be keeping tight-lipped and strictly non-judgemental about this event. I couldn't possibly comment, except that we must defend our virtue. The Stewards have spoken; is it time for a public declaration from the TSSC/TRR Championship?

    I must admit I'm getting more and more nervous about racing next year now...
    
    everytime I don't race there is an incident...
    
    With class G being the "within the spirit of the championship"..
    
    can't something be done to make sure our drivers remain "within the spirit of the championship ?"
    
    NiG,.. can't you get together with the TR Secretary and make up some rules for ratification at the AGM ?
    
    Would we all agree on some osrts of penalties being introduced for manic behaviour...
    
    obviously we can't make the decisions, but the Stewards do, and maybe it should carry a further penalty within the club when the stewards do..
    
    or..
    
    How long till there are enough small cars to have a grid of our own.... ??
    Now wouldn't that be ace !! Come on everyone ... get building...

      Rules and regulations are already in place, both in the blue book and in the TR/TSSC regs. If there is an incident then it just needs reporting to set things rolling.
      
      Note that the last race at Cadwell was NOT a TR/TSSC race so the incidents described in the 10 tenths thread should not be read across to our championship.
      
      Personally I enjoy racing with a wide variety of cars and would miss being out with the TRs if we just went to TSSC cars only.
      
      The TR/TSSC cadwell race was absolutly awesome and everybody I talked too afterwards had a great time. I look forward to NiGs report. What I don't look forward to is the months of boredom until racing starts again next April
