Just watched an article on BBC 'Look North' where Jonathon Palmer, F1 chappie and owner of Cadwell Park, said the track was to be widened in places to
allow engines bigger than 2 litres to race there (??) and generally improved. He wants to see more car racing there as well as keep the existing bike
racing. Thought you'd like to know Mik

So I expext the TR7 guys to get a tiddley 2litre V8 for the Cadwell round or at least only use half their cylinders. What an excellent rule! Mr Palmer
is to be congratulated.

All,
Could this mean that Dr.Palmer wants the Touring cars to visit? Look at the changes made to Croft for that purpose - lots more run-off areas.
At Croft that actually improved the course (IMHO), but Cadwell? The Mountain-Hall Curves-Hairpin-Barn sequence is unique, and I hope and believe
that the shape of the ground will make run-offs impossible - look how it drops away on the outside of the Hairpin. They could 'improve' the
approach to Charlies, but that would need tree-felling . The rest of the course is wide open, so little damage will be done.
