  Noooo, leave Snetterton alone. Probably the last of the fast 'airfield' circuits. It wasn't that long ago they moved the bridge from after the esses to before them, never as much fun to watch afterwards as drivers had something to gauge their braking points on... sorry racers

    There's a long thread on Ten-Tenths including plans of the new layout. I suspect that provided planning permission is granted that it will definately go ahead. The reason for the change being that Mr Palmer wants to attract some international championships and at present the circuit is not long enough. Full marks for his vision and effort - just hope the circuit is good.

      According to a page linked from from the Snetterton website it says:
      
      "Also planned are some radical alterations to the layout of the Snetterton circuit itself, with Russell chicane being replaced by a double hairpin complex and Sear corner going out wider and featuring a sharper turn to bring it back in to rejoin the Revett Straight."
