From the looks of the photo sequence NiG's...detour was just personal interest. Was the other car an innocent passer by, or did they just follow
his...line through/around the corner?!?

Naah! It was all my fault... got the corner completely wrong and spun off... only to spin back on and collect the other car...
I have to admit though.. I'm not entriely sure why he was so far out on that corner, but I do seem to remember it being a bit busy at the time... maybe he was going for the 'safe' line...
