Friends,
I'm looking for an inexpensive supplier for some oddball bolts used at the front of our differentials. At the front of the diff there are four 3/8-24 x 1"
bolts securing the stamped steel cross piece to the nose of the casting. Behind the pinion flange. For some reason they have a taper under the head instead
of the typical square shoulder we see on standard bolts. They work out perfectly for my special application. Can anybody point me to a supplier for these
and perhaps a part number? Thanks, Steve in sunny Las Vegas

I think I've found them at Canley. 132856. Regards, Steve

Hi from soggy Gt Brit
I am very surprised to find these are special bolts. In the GT6 manual they are identified as 3/8" UNF bolts part no 132856 but surprisingly with
special washers part No. WN0710. The manual also refers to these as "wedgelock set screws". I have never had need to disturb the carrier plate so have
no 1st hand experience.
Anyway I guess the part numbers are the same for all small chassis Triumphs
Hope this helps
Geoff

Thanx Geoff, Your quoting "wedgelock" confirms that they are indeed the ones needed. Cross checking some other references had me doubting. Steve
