Cars ready, tax and insured and mot-ted, but backbox is loud and a little too low to the ground for my liking, so i am envisaging a bespoke stainless
jobby, but what decibels are allowed at trackdays? Or what is the lowest decibel demanded at any track?
your help please.
thanks Calvin.

Race days the limit is 105 db I think some track days may even be limited to 98 db, some 102 db I think. Maybe worth giving a track day company an
email to ask about limits for different tracks / time of year / day of week... www.bookatrack.com are usually pretty helpful, contact Jonny or Sarah

For most track days you have to be under 98Db and it is usually measured at 4000 rpm, static, 0.5 meters from the exhuast at 45 degrees from the
pipe.
For racing we are allowed 105Db...
