Hi
Not sure if this is a good place to put this, i have also put it in the herald area.
I have the above two engines available to rebuild for my Marlin. Assuming that both are in similar condition which would be the better engine to rebuild. I
would probably put the twin carbs back on to whichever engine gets rebuilt.
Main questions would be 1.which has the better crankshaft 2. are there any differences in the heads.
Thanks
Dave

The small crank one which is the GE - you should be able to tell by the size of the pulley nut (pulley is not always small on small crank engines); go
for the one with the smaller pulley nut.
That's just my view though.

Thanks for the info Jon.
Much appreciated. Got to get it done for the classic Lemans.
