What are peoples opinions on rear wheel tracking on a race car with 3+% of neg camber. as some like it in and some prefer it out. I'm having 4 wheel
alignment done on Fri, Day before Silverstone, not the smartest thing to do eh

I'm not sure what the best settings are as I'm just happy mine point generaly point forwards!
However thinking a bit, on most race spits that are significantly lowered at the rear, the radius arms are sloping upwards to the wheels. Therefore for
most of the suspension movement under load the wheel will move further up into the arches so increasing that angle. This will result in the radius arm
distance being effectively shortened thereby inducing toe in. Toe in is good as the wheels are working towards a common point so gives stability.
I do not think toe out is good as wheel s trying to go to two different points and it would chuck the back end out in corners and be twitchy on
straights.
I conclude that a happy setting would be parallel, then when you sit in it slight toe in will come in, and as you accerlerate and corner a little more.
This may give a nice neutral rear.
