Discuss anything and everything with other members in your corner of the world. How about a picture of you and your Triumph!
Almost twent years ago I used to own a herald 13/60 convertible (reg. 61-88-GR , chassisno.GE 34754 LCV, white 1969) restored by a friend of ours Frans
Smeets. He and his wife Connie used to own quit some different Triumphs and all in excellent shape. In those days (1984!) I was member of the Club Triumph
Holland (as well as the TSSC) and obtained a copy of a film called Turn Left to Tanger from the BMIHT. Fascinating report on an epic journey with two
heralds through Africa. I also was the proud owner a book regarding the same journey but in those days I borrowed both out to someone and never saw them
since! In the mean time twenty years later I am again infected by the Triumph bug and bought a Vitesse Conv.MkII 1970 which is currently being restored. I
have two questions:
1.Is there anybody out there who can still remeber borrowing my video and book? If so I would be very pleased to get them back!
2. What has become of the White herald?
Both issues are a long shot but who knows......
best regards
