General Triumph Lounge Bar messages

I'd never been to Coventry before last Thursday. Called in to shoot a video at a factory over two days.
The factory MD booked the crew into a local new, non descript, hotel called 'The Village' about a mile away. It was dark when we got there, and during dinner, we were told that this Hotel was built on an industrial estate which was once the Triumph factory!
I, of course, went all dreamy...but took care not to bore my crew with tales of Heraldness that is me ..
The following morning, in the light, I was indeed impressed to see roads marked Toledo Drive, Renown Way, Dolomite Avenue ...but then I realsised that we were actually driving along Herald Avenue! Did I bore the pants of my crew for the rest of the shoot?? You bet I did.
You midlanders, I'm sure, have all made the pilgrimage to the Holy Ground, but for me, the moment was so unexpected and most pleasing!
Just thought I'd share my moment with you...
