What I really want to know...

You know when you're watching the TV news, and it's the politics, and they cut to the man in Downing Street? What I want to know is just HOW do they get the front door of Number 10 so shiny? NOTHING in real life is as shiny as that, is it? Not even brand new cars in the showroom. Is it a special kind of polish that you could use on a car, or is it just that Tony's had so many expensive pairs of shoes ruined by people licking them clean that he now gets them to lick the door clean instead..?

  They actually have (at least) two front doors, one is always being away painted. A proper old school painter can get wooden doors that shiny with the proper prep, paint and tools etc. That's what my old man was before he retired. His front door is very shiny as well, unlike mine.

    Do they swap them at night then? And is it a good use of taxpayer's money? Instead of Tony jetting off round the world on free holidays, I reckon he should be painting his own door at the weekend, especially on what he gets paid... Betcha paint that shines like that isn't very green either. One rule for them...
