What d'ye make of this?

All,
I was sent a link that took me to this my by good friend Mike Bulfer of Illinois:

I can't make out what this is. Are they promoting a car for sale, or tickets for a touring event?
It's described as being based on a TR6 chassis, and engine, but elsewhere as being modelled on the GT6. (Can't see that, myself)
Anyroadup, it's due to be completed in March next year, so we shall see!

well arr, i like the pictures but the hotels look wayyyyyyyyyy out of my league

we now have a lathe, John, although no lathe tools. can you searcgh ebay?

it's not the world's biggest lathe but it will make two mushrooms and drilled and tapped end plugs for radius arms for spherical joints

not quite big enough to skim brake discs though...

will be able to turn 100 mm dia spacers though
