I think it's a South African developed long throw crank and an
overbore that gets you close to 1700 although the engines the Club used to sell were 1600. They were marketed as "Sport" engines but without
attention to the oil supply I bet most are now shagged with a bearing spun. Talk to Kev Hadfield for practical advice on how to stop this or
buy Kastner's second book (I don't have any more copies, see www.kaskaster.com ) OR you could try asking Dave at Canleys
