Over the years I've had many Champion spark plugs fail, most fail without warning after only being in use for a few dozen miles, but I've had one electrode
break off (don't know how the engine survived but it did), and a couple of cracked insulators. And it's not just on the Herald, I've had them fail on many
cars, most recently on my wife's F**t (there I go, swearing again). I don't have this problem with NGK or Bosche which will give good performance forever
if neccassary. Has anyone else had this problem with Champions or is it just me?

Champions? I don't know about that... I have always used NGK sparkplugs since the start of my motorcycling. presently using the Palladium fine wire
centre electrode variety, very forgiving
