Trailer loan needed

I've just bought a MKIII Spitfire project and need a trailer to get it back home.
All I can find locally to hire is huge transporter suitable for large vans, Range Rover etc and nothing that is relativley light weight.
Even a converted caravan chassis should be suitable as the car has no engine so not too heavy.
Anyone got such a smaller trailer I could borrow in exchange for bottle of whiskey etc ?
I'm at Werrington, Stoke-on-Trent.

I always say 'have you asked your local area organiser' when anybody in my area asks the question. Then they find out that I know where there is one
for loan!

No argument with Colin, but the TSSC members who regularly use trailers are the racers - repeat your post on the Motorsport forum?
You might also mention where the car is - a two way trip would be easier than a three way one!
