  I used Thomsons Driveway cleaner on a brick driveway - Gunk do a similar product... worked well - but took a couple of applications and time for it to get it all out...

    If you have a tarmac drive some degreasers will melt tarmac and leave it permantly soft .
    if its dry try cement but needs cleaning up well.
    
    If is concrete or block paving engine degreaser and plenty of soapy boiling hot water to cut through oil ect

      thanks guy's it's tarmac have scrubbed with mild degreasers but to no avail did not want to use anything stronger w/out recomendation

  Try asking at the local fire station how they get oil spills out of tarmac after accidents. I don't know what they use but it's bloody good!
  Personally I'd see an oily drive as a badge of classic car ownership....but there again I'm not married
