    I take it the colour is Magenta? It was this colour on a new GT6 parked outside a breakers yard in Tilbury that fired my longing for one of these (that was 30 years ago, grief). However, since then I've gone off Magenta a bit as the one's I've seen are a bit flat in the paintwork dept and look dowdy but your's looks all shiny and superb!

      On a slightly different tack - I notice that your door mirrors are fitted a bit further back than the usual. They look OK in that position, can you see out of them OK. Mine are fitted further toward the front and can see bugger all!
      
      Did you fit them, if so how did you deal with the two holes left behind?

        The doors were reskinned at the same time, so there weren't any holes to leave behind...
        
        Don 2 -
        It's taken just outside Eton looking south toward Windsor Castle. Believe it or not, living near Slough does have it's merits!!

        With regards to the shiny paintwork - Zymol polish is the only way to go. It's pretty damn expensive but it's lasted me over a year so far. (I have no connection with this company by the way!)

        The car is Damson (paint code 17), but digital cameras can be a bit odd when it comes to reproducing some shades...

      Minilites suit that car well. Not all cars though. They often look odd on late Spitfires for some reason. Don't know why, maybe it's just me.
