Having just come back from holiday I was very suprised to have seen only one Triumph, Spitfire in North Walsham, on our travels. Each year we seem to see
less and less Triumphs on the road. I can fully understand this during the winter months but on a nice warm Summer day.
I will add that there were a number of MGB,s on the road, so lets get out there and use them.

Dave,
Having spent a glorious weeks holiday at Bacton (not far from North Walsham) in my 13/60 convertible, with roof down all week, covered about
400miles.
I was surprsied by the number of modern convertibles with their roofs stuck in the up position!!!! is this a trait of Norfolk?
Off to Dorset in a few weeks in the Herald again, come rain or shine.

Hi Dave,
I can assure you that there are plenty of us in Norfolk using Triumphs as everyday cars including one of our members who parks her car in the Lotus car
park every working day!
You are right about the modern convertibles having their hoods up all the time, I even saw a M***A yesterday with the hood up even though the
temperature was 30 degrees centigrade. I think the reason is that the MX5 was introduced about 12 years before the hood instructions were issued!, and
the stage coach hasn't reached Norfolk as yet.

Thanks Graham for your feedback and I am glad to hear there are a number of cars still in use in Norfolk.
As interest we sent the last week in Somerset and saw eight Triumphs on our travels. Also lots of MGs old and modern.
Being a long term Triumph enthusiast (38 years) I have notice a general reduction of Triumphs on the roads since year 2000. This includes the
holiday period. Hence my comments which still stand. - We need to use them
Regards
Dave
