Seen a Triumph out and about and wondered who they are?

Driving round the A 120 Coggeshall by-pass yesterday evening (7 ish) in my Spit I saw and waved at a Spitfire coming the other way. I was going west into the setting sun, so I couldn't even tell what colour the other car was. The driver did wave back tho. Was it a member ?
