3 different ebay identities as sellers, but all registered on the same day! And Exeter is now in Dorset!
Not sure quite what the scam is with these pre-approved auctions, especially when you see the level of some of the bids
rejected. Is it trying to find the market level for the car? There was an amazing example of that a few weeks ago with an
(apparently genuine) Daimler V8-250 saloon (the rare manual one) with 2700 miles from new.
Originally listed as pre-approved auction:

(item no 260129296225) with bids regularly being rejected, and suspiciously, some complaints about being unable to contact the
seller, presumably to get preapproved. Just look at the bidding history and the level they reached! On the night of the
auction, bids had reached, an apparently genuine, £80,100 an hour before close. Work then intervened so I could
not follow it further, but it seems all bids were then rejected in the last hour and the car did not sell.
Then relisted and sold, apparently, for a bargain price:

I am mindful of the number of times I have written "apparently" above, so perhaps it was a scam, but it all seems very strange.
If it is a genuine car, then someone has got a real bargain.
