Ahh yes i see the drill holes in the bellhousing.
What is the point of a Hillman Imp rear, is it better than fabricating a bespoke one. Was the rear of an Imp stronger in any way?
Looks like Club Triumph have alot of answers:
"It is a 70X head and manifolds bolted on to a Herald 1200 engine of 66 vintage. It's the the cast iron version (head) not one of the even
rarer alloy ones. It has a bog standard Herald 3 syncro box, and a 'normal' diff."
Seems to be makeing alot of money its now at £2000.

The reason for the Imp rear suspension is that Davrians are Imp based so it fits straight in! The chassis has been modified/replaced at the
front to fit the Triumph engine and suspension.
