Last year, Halford's published a single page leaflet, that listed all the possible extras that might be required and showed on a table those needed
in each European country.
I think they are doing it again, or my branch has some left over, 'cos I saw some there recently.
Of course, this was to promote the sale of first aid kits, HiViz waistcoats etc. but if they are required, it sounds like a good idea.
In Germany, just any old first aid kit won't do. It must contain a stipulated list of items - and Halford's happen to sell 'authorised' kits!
Something not mentioned above is spare spectacles, if you wear them.
And Googling for "Driving in COUNTRY" will get you more websites about the conditions in the COUNTRY you wish to visit than you can be bothered to
read.
