I'm borrowing my daughter's mini fridge and because I don't have a cigar lighter in my car I am going to fit a 2 x female socket adapter with the male
adaptor cut off and wired in directly (I just read that through and it sounds like some sadistic porn instructions!). It's the 'in' bit that I'm not sure
about? Can I wire to any battery take off, could it power the fridge and mobile phone charger at the same time? Can anybody push me when the battery goes
flat??

I think you'd be better off buying a 'power outlet socket' (twins are available) from halfords and fit it permenantly? In the boot maybe?
You'd need to make sure that your wiring is capable of carrying the combined load (amps) of whatever you tag on the end. The minifridge should have
it's rating marked, as should the phone charger.
I'd be tempted to take a circuit from the battery through a switched relay and an in-line fuse too. That way no pushing, but also no cold beer if
you've stopped!

You need a split charging circuit as fitted with twin socket towbar setups.
And that way you can have 3 or 4 spare batteries in the boot and charge them as you go along, but it isolates the main battery when the ignition is
switched off.
Beer stays cool for much longer, as it runs the fridge off the spare batteries.
Of course you could just buy your cold beer (frozen if we get it wrong!!! any one for a stella lolly?????) from the organisers.
Cheers
