A28 Rouen to Alencon Open

Something some may like to consider for Le Mans Classic route planning is that the new motorway from Rouen to Alencon is now open, so speeding up most roads from the cost.

Motorways are boring in my book, and I prefer to wake up some small villages driving back roads from Le Havre my self. On the other hand, you do get to enjoy the current French obsession with bridges...

      That'll be the road that my Sat Nav nagged me silly to take to Le Mans last June despite it still being under construction!
      
      Do you know if you still have to go into Rouen to pick up the Alencon motorway, or is there a new bypass too?

        Initially there will be some driving through Rouen, but a ring-road is planned.
