The regular 24 heures du Mans takes place on 18/19th June 2005.

Looking at the ACO website it is advisable to book trackside camping immediately as the campi sites are almost entirely sold out.

Camping is charged per car whereas circuit entry is charged per person.

I see that there is a reduction in circuit entry costs for groups >= 20 people, and also discounts for ACO members in groups up to 6 people.

I understand that the most popular ferry crossings are also rapidly approaching capacity too.

I suggest we use this forum for members to get together and organise discounted entry/camping and ferry tickets. I haven't decided if I'm going yet so anyone care to volunteer to organise the bookings?

www.speedchills.com have some camping space in Beausejour which might help.

Personally it's looking good for 2 Spitfire's sneaking in to Camping Houx with a load of TVR's - probably on Wednesday.

If your going to be there, is there any interest in a mini-Triumph meet in Arnage, Thursday 16th June...?

  There are a few of us going to Le Mans this year for my friend Paul Binns' stag do. Not sure on the numbers yet but should be a few TSSC members. I'm going down with a few guys on the Tuesday and camping at Bleu Sud as usual and the rest are arriving Thursday. We usually hang out in Arnage in the evenings so would be happy to meet up with any other TSSC members.

    Currently we (Myself, Ash & Bill Meson) have 2 spits going, but will probably be booking a third, not sure where we're camping but it'd be great to meet for a few beers! We're traveling down on the wednesday night crossing, from Portsmouth to Caen, via Brittany Ferries, anyone else from the TSSC on that boat?

      We (Mark Stradling and myself) also have 2 spits booked on the Wednesday night ferry from Portsmouth, altohugh we are landing in Le Havre (with P&O).

        Good stuff, sounds great! The sailing is at about 11pm I think, so plenty of time for a quick Beer (or three!) in the pub (conveniently located on the way into the port!).
