Daniel,
Offending the concourse members? Who, me?
The DVLA because the Silverback is made from parts from several different cars - they operate a points system to determine if a rebuilt car
can inherit the registration of one of the donors, and if so which. The SVA because of a different project that never happened.
And if you are revising the lights you need to look at:
http://www.opsi.gov.uk/si/si1989/Uksi_19891796_en_...
The Statutory Instrument 1989 No. 1796, The Road Vehicles Lighting Regulations 1989
Please tell us how you intend to build the new bodywork, style and construction etc? If by experience you mean body work, the S/b has a lot
of GRP body components that I built, but I haven't built a complete car bdy from scratch.
That reminds me. See:
http://www.rqriley.com/frp-foam.htm for an example of using urethane foam panels for body
construction. The example is bizarre, but don't let that put you off this useful article, though remember that this foam absorbs resin and
the result is usually rather heavy, unlike a properly made GRP part from a mould.
