Mike,
Please, what are the rules about the 'expiry' of driving offences and penalty points from your driving licence? Touch wood, I have not acquired any new
ones - I would just like to know when I am no longer driving 'close to the wind', as it were.

John
Endorsement Points on your Driving Licence last for three years from the date of conviction (except Fixed Penalty Notice which is three years from the
date of the offence) and have to stay on your licence for four years. After this time you can apply (and pay) to have them removed.
Hope that answers your question.

Mike,
Hey, thanks! I'm clean!
All,
Now here's a tip:
I wanted a previous set of (ahem) events expunged and sent the licence to Swansea for a new one. They wrote back, "Sorry, there is a fee to pay,
look you!".
So I wrote and said, "I'll have the old licence back then." - They sent a new one! Free!
Can't guarantee it'll work every time, but worth a flutter.
