awwww go on, we'll accept dogs, just make sure they're gutted and of the right size to fit in the BBQ
Does Stafford not accept them in the camping area?

Can this be a short lead ie less than sixty feet, not one of those tape measure type retracting ones for which you need a telescope to see if your
dog is still there? And please, not in Bingley Hall...
I made the same plea last year (see International Weekend messages) and still got rope burns on my legs from someone's dog at the autojumble, not
to mention my BBQ knocked over and rifled in the early hours. Dogs don't need to go to the autojumble, they never buy anything, not even a
(wish)bone.

Colin......eat the BBQ faster, the gits(pooch owner myself) won't have anything to eat then will they, suppose they could save washing up though
and lick the drip tray.

Ade, do you mean the wake up with it stuck to your face kind of kebab or pizza? I don't seem to be able to find those these
days

I remember some of the things I used to eat as a student, and some of the things I didn't, like when I lived on lemon tea for three
days... but tastes change and the palate becomes more refined. Even so, no matter how many times I use a siphon I still can't
develop a taste for petrol but in the past month I've eaten both Waxoyl and Hammerite!
The great thing about the BBQ is that anything which falls onto the steak becomes carbonised and therefore tastes exactly the same,
so a quick reheat in the morning covers a multitude of sins no matter how many legs they have. (Dogs excluded of course, I'm quite
fond of them but couldn't eat a whole one)
Saturday morning 2003 following a heavy night before all I was fit for was cold Ribena which tastes the same coming up as it does
going down...

I too have found that with Ribena... always a safe bet when you know things might not stay down for long!!
As for a siphon, I find that anti-freeze is a good one!

I'm not coming to your party!

Is that the same anti-freeze the Italians were found to be lacing their wine with a year or two ago?
-

The difference between anti-freeze and petrol is that with anti-freeze you're not scared to belch near a naked
flame...

take the easy route, and camp, ive taken my dog to Stafford for the last 12+ years and had no trouble,ok you have to take them for a walk before going
into the hall just incase they have a pee;

Not bad, that.... this thread resurrected after almost a year...
I'll have to practice the Stafford shuffle - you know the one where you feel something against the back of your legs, and when you manage to get
turned round without falling there's a seemingly endless rope trying to knock you over, so you follow it along and at one end there's a totally
unconcerned person looking at the stall forty feet away while the other end is attached to a dog somewhere about Stafford main street. This is the
same dog that will eat your BBQ that evening since its' owner has sent it over to YOUR BBQ so he can eat HIS in peace... why do they have to have
such a sad expression while they watch you eat??

It'll be my first time at Stafford this year......is it OK if I bring my cat? He never bothers us at BBQ's and is fond of dogs, he hasn't
managed to eat a whole one yet though.

Colin,
There's no such thing as an irresponsible dog - irresponsible dog owners yes. Don't have a go at the dog - tell the owner that THEIR behaviour
is unacceptable.
Craig - who took his well behaved Jack Russell Terrier X to Stafford last year - he only bit a few people mind...
