Wifes on a hen do,one of my houses needs gutting top to bottom for renters,i really wanted to go to Stafford this year and am slightly pissed that i could not make it.....................hope you all enjoyed it,the weather was not too shite and that you spent a lot on beer and bits.................

      We shall have to demand the Hoegaarden next year... Chris (assuming he does a grand job of organising it again) will have a whole year to work on it...
      
      I've bought a bottle of "Hoegaarden Grand Cru" today... never had it before... 8.7% <)

        Weird or what. I've just had my speedo checked and its pretty accurate and we were driving at 60 mph?? I wondered why you were going so slow and why people were cutting in front of you! What was your rev counter showing?

        My god... this hardcore Hoegaarden and a Leffe make a lethal combo!
        
        Anyway... my rev counter was showing 3250 to 3500... which works out at about 73 - 80 mph

        The car seemed to be going fast enough... and anyway - I was keeping up with the car in front more than anything...

        'O' were my attempt not to have to type out roundabouts...........damn ,done it now.Don't know about events,i'm not really a car show type person.When is Cadwell racing?Enjoyed that last year.

        However Donington is on the 31st of this month... and JD with the mentalle Vitesse estate will be there...

        Lets not go through the same as last year..........glad you enjoyed it and i'm sure it's a great event,i'm sure there is a difference between it and normal car shows,it's just not my thing.
        
        I am sure it takes a hell of a lot of organising and a big thanks must surely go to those who do so and to the club,traders and members who attend and make it the weekend that you all enjoy.I did want to go this year simply to meet a few who chat on here,John and James in particular,but was unable too due to circumstances beyond my control.
        
        I have not nor will not slag the event and if you have read into my post that i have ,then i'm afraid you have misread my post,that was not my intention..................

      The beer situation was shocking! At least the Pedigree I managed to get was better than the strange brew they had last year... the band was pretty good too don't you think - I got the occasional glimpse of Meatloaf over the sea of shower caps. It was Meatloaf wasn't it??
