Mike (Crewes), All,
Today's 'Honest John' column (
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/motoring/main.jhtml?vie...
See "Stop calling me Shirley") says that the AA and the RAC will not recover your car after an accident, only after a breakdown. This appears to apply even
if the car is driveable.
I think we would all like to know what FJ's present policy and future intention is on this.
And another thing.
In the same column (see "Holland and barrack") we are told that insurers will now only cover continental recovery up to the value of the car.
HJ says if you want to go abroad, get a newer car.
FJ offers 'agreed value' damage and loss insurnace. Will their continental recovery also cover our old, 'low value' cars?
