Young people insuring Spitfires

Hi - first of all I'd like to say hello, I'm new here, only joined a few days ago! Decided that I'd like a classic car and kinda fell in love with the Spitfire 1500, so I'm currently saving for one.

Now, for the question... I'm 20, 2 years NCB, already fully comp insured on a Focus (group 6) for which I pay a small fortune. Now I phoned Footman James to see what they could offer, and was quoted &163;600... not too bad, but with a limited mileage (4500). So I thought that was OK, and gave my current insurers a ring to see what they would offer, and they happily quoted &163;400 fully comp with no limits... is this usual? I asked Footman James if they did any price-match policy or anything, which they don't, so it looks like I'll go with my current insurers. Is this a normal sort of quote? I'd already mentioned that I was a member, and they took a few &163;&194;&163; off for that, but it's still far more expensive than the alternatives.
