Don't get me started on insurance!!

In law, it is incumbent on you to disclose 'all material facts', and, yes, this is every year, even if it's with the same broker or insurer.
My wife has high blood pressure, controlled by medication, and we have to go through the same rigamarole every year with the holiday insurance people. Same insurer, same policy, same ailment, same treatment, same wife(!), still have to have the policy 'specially authorised' (= more money)
Why do we do it?, It's still a cheap policy, and I'm Scottish.

So, everyone with agreed value with FJames resends their agreed value certificate each year????

Know what you mean about some insurance companies. When my Mother died we discovered she had a funeral expenses policy. There was a claims "helpline"...phoned it, gave policy number and explained I was next of kin...refused to discuss with me as I was not the policy holder and it breached data protection!!!!!!!!!! Cue ouija board.-

Check on your Policy Schedule,
Down the bottom of the page under " Endorsements " should be the words " Agreed Value " with the actual value agreed and your Vehicle reg no.

Many many thanks to Charlie at club HQ for sorting this out for the SECOND year running. FJ, you will NOT have my business again.Chocolate fireguard springs to mind. I would strongly advise folk to send your copy of Valuations recorded/by fax to this lot.
