Just to confirm what Julie has stated,
A TSSC valuation is required for the Footman James Triumph policy, if you've a multi vehicle Triumph policy, you'll need a valuation for
each car.
Valuations are signed off by a Director of the club either based on photo's or examining the car at a TSSC show, usually SEM or Stafford,
or if the car is taken to HQ. A valuation is usually more accurate and benificial to the car and owner from having it done at a show, as we
can get a better feel for the car, it's overall condition and take other items into account that may not be apparant with photo's
If you've a modern multi vehicle policy, FJ will take your valuation, but in the event of an accident, they'll refer to a guide for
considering repair or scrap.
Cheers

I think the point is that you don't necessarily need to have a "Triumph" classic car policy with FJ. It is perfectly possible to have a
multi car classic policy with agreed values and NOT need a TSSC valuation. It's possible that the "Triumph" version may be cheaper (or
it may not) but since a couple of my classic cars are not Triumphs and I want the simplicity of one policy it's a bit academic for me.

I have a mate who has a multi vehicle classic car policy with FJ (same as I do) and they paid out his 'agreed via photos' valuation of
his written off Peugeot 306 (Classic to FJ is over 10 years old, so it captures lots of 'modern' classics.) without any hesitation
what-so-ever.
Didn't affect his premiums much either, and he has at least 8 cars on the policy, well 1 less now anyway.
His comment was 'excellent service'
Cheers
