Ok Ok.
1500 very fast Herald, nicely sorted. It has a swing spring, spacer, larger roll bar, metal steering clamps ..the lot ...except...made the mistake of
fitting new standard shocks and springs and new rubber bushes all round last year.
Have new discs, new tuff springs, AVO shocks to go on BUT do I go the whole hog and fit hard poly bushes as well?
Big road humps around these parts, she bounces too much and wallows on corners somewhat.
But I've done with racing, I just want predictable fun!
Any comments??
cheers

David,
same suspension set up, spax on front, polybushes all round, can't remember what colour, but not the full race items, but the fast road items, my
bucket seats made sure that i was comfortable on a run from Corby to Boston, Nicely taught although it was bumpy at times. Never uncomfortable(ears
bleeding from big exhaust though).
would recommend this set up, but you can get direct replacements for rubber bushes in poly material, if you want the comfort.
(what is the point after all that improvement work?),
cheers Calvin.

Exactly, what is the point of comfort after all that uprating work?
However, these old bones might not appreciate the extra hard ride I remember from my rally mini days gone by, and
even with the Mazda comfy seats......hmmm.
Don't get me wrong, I don't mind taking it all apart and putting it back together again, and again, ...and again BUT
learned thoughts honed by experience are useful. Thanks
