Not at all obvious unless yopu check out the original parts list, but there is a small clip which closes off the slot once the throttle cable is in
place. This is often missing (though readily available and cheap), an easy get-around is to gently squeeze closed the slot once the cable is fitte,
taking car not to over tighten on the cable. This can be easily opened out again once you have the correct clip.
All part for the throttle assembly are are available, except for the pedal itself, though even there some suppliers have an aftermarket item which will
do the job if your original is beyond repair. The pivot bracket and all screws/pins aren't a problem and most suppliers will be know what you're
talking about if you ask. There should actually be two screws holding the bracket to the floor, if there is only one than that won't help the
