Fellows:
I bought a used(but really nice) positive earth electrical rev counter for my 13/60 the other day. I've cleaned it and made a nice bracket for it, and
wonder if anyone can remind me how to connect it up?
Also, when I eventually change from dynamo to alternator and swap polarity...should I throw it away??
Cheers

David,
If your rev counter is positive earth (the case of the rev counter) then you can not easily use it on your 13/60 as this is negative earth.
If however the rev counter is negative earth then the positive supply connection goes to the ignition switch side of the battery supply i.e. it is
switched through the ignition switch.
The negative (maybe the case) connection is earthed to the body of the car.
The input connection goes to the points.
Regards
