Hello,
I hope someone out there can help me. I have recently bought my dream car - a Trimuph Herald 13/60 convertible - but unfortunately I know very little about
the car and am currently forking out loads of money every month trying to get him in perfect working order. However, I am totally relying on what mechanics
tell me needs doing - and not all of them seem too sure themselves! My major problem is lack of contacts. If anyone out there knows of any good mechanics,
or people generally in the know, in the Essex area (I live in Leigh-on-Sea) I would very much like to hear about them.
I would love to hear about anything from local breaker's yards to where to buy new hoods. Is there anyone out there I can talk to? Hope to hear from you
soon.
Thanks,
Lisa

Hi Lisa
I am currently looking for my dream car (a 1200 convertible) and have done quite a bit of research (as I also know very little)
I have copies of magazine articles about the cars and have identified some websites which may be of help.
I can either post copies to you or scan and e-mail them if this would be of help.
Regards
Andrew

Thanks to you all for your messages regarding local contacts. Everything seems to be coming together this week, despite suffering numerous problems
with the car! I have managed to find a good mechanic in Southend who has helped me out with various other contacts and I have gained lots more info
since joining TSSC.
Thanks for your kind offer of sending more info Andrew but hopefully I am on the case now.
It's nice to know there are so many nice people still out there willing to help.
Cheers.

There a few specialists your way
Terry Murphy at Chelmsford
Essex Triumph in Colchester
Further afield there is Anglian Triumph and TRGB, both offering mail order and not too bad for a drive to.
Make contact with your local area (meet at Lakeside??) the AO's are very friendly I am told!!
Post messages here even!!!
Colin
