Cassette Players?

Hi Ed I have seen you message on the other forum too, I have just done the same conversion of radio myself... I didn't change to an alternator as my
car is already -ve earth.
See attached picture of mine. the radio is in a metal cradle but you can get plastic ones, I will check and see if i have one
not sure. however the one dan has may come with the cradle. be careful when fitting it as the cars don't have many fuses (my car
is a 1200 and it has an inline fuse on the +ve lead to the radio but thats about all the fuses in the car!), so you can burn the loom. If in doubt as
one of the club members in your area to give you a hand. I just replaced like for like and checked the fuse rating.
Do you have speakers in the car if so where, and do they match up with the power output of the radio otherwise you might need an amp??
Sounds a bit pimp my herlad doesn't it!
I highly recomend the change over as I can now plug the Ipod in and listen to tunes! who knows maybe you can sell the old radio on ebay....
