Hi, I have nearly finished wiring D-type overdrive on my 1964 1200 Herald estate. I have wired the overdrive the same as a Vitesse 2 litre using a relay.
My problem is where do you wire the two wires that go on the back of the ignition switch? I understand that there is a terminal 1 and terminal 2 which
should be used. Which terminal is which please? Many thanks Steve

White wire from Winding side of relay goes to ignition switch terminal with other white wires on it.
Brown wire from Contact side of relay goes to ignition switch (or starter solenoid) terminal with other brown wires on it.
