hi guys
I need a bit of advice and thought you might be able to help.
Can anyone tell me if there is there a specific tool for fitting the seat diaphragm on herald seats or does it just involve lots of tugging and
swearing?
If there is a tool where do i get it? does anyone have a spare I can borrow?
cheers

No special tool that I am aware of, I just used a pair of pliars and didn't find it too difficult but I've heard others say how difficult it can be and
one suggestion was to use tie-wraps (you know, those plastic zip things?) then replace the tie-wraps one-by-one with the proper hook. I'm sure I read
here somewhere that someone even just left the tie-wraps in place and didn't bother using the clips - not sure if that's a good idea but may be worth
considering if you're really struggling.

I imagine the zip-ties would be quite strong enough, going on how tough they are to cut with even a new blade in the stanley knife.

tugging and swearing worked for me - plus large pliers to help. once you get started, i think you get the hang of it??

Tugging and swearing is definitely the way to go - took 3 of us several hours to do just one!! Still have the scars on my hand to prove
it...................
