no damage to car or chassy or suprisingly hub, just the brake drum and studs, im guessing that i overtighted them, putlled one stud
throgh and put other under straighn, or undertighted the 2 undamaged ones., I thoght it was the UJ's as i changed them when I don
the engine so when the noise started i just put it down to them, as its first time iv done them, banging was ignored as was slight,
then when it got bad i looked at ujs, saw nothing went up road to try and get to garage just up road and bang, bump bump, grrrrrrr,
then misus moaning, saying did you check wheel nuts when you looked under car for noise. lol ops.
apart from changing studs and drum what else should i do then? anyone got them i can buy/have?

Apart from studs and drum you'll need some nuts, unless they're still rolling around inside the hubcap.
Hole in the hub doesn't look round to me.
I would take the studs out and check that the hub face is flat.
Also, the radius arm doesn't look straight. Are they supposed to be straight or bent? Check the other side.
This might help in future - I only fit hubcaps once I have torqued up the nuts. That way I always know if I have done it or
not.
Good luck

the arm looks fine to me, normal kink, face apears to be flat/level. and its a round hole where stud was with the grip
looking lines on inside of stud hole.

I would expect the hub bearing to be damaged even if it's not immediately obvious.

You might want to check your other brake drum for cracks just to be on the safe side. I think TLD wrote
something about them cracking if they get overheated. I don't know if that could have caused your problem
though?

like egg shell thicknes and can pick off with nail!
drum and studs on there way,
such a shame to see my car outside in this terible wearher. but cant put in garage without a wheel. sits on
bricks in drive! covers been orderd now.

ive got minilites on my vit6 but as 3/8 studs are a bit on the small side and have little tolerance for
wear and tear I have fitted 12mm dia studs and nuts easily and you wont shear these in a hurry food for
