Hi, how is the best way to clean out a Solex carburettor on a 1200 Herald please? Thanks Steve

Remove the air cleaner, fuel pipe union and take off the top. Take the float out, mop the float chamber clean and poke an airline at all the little
holes you can see. This might do the trick but if you have to take the jets out you really need the exploded diagram from the workshop manual, I'm
pretty good at doing this job on the roadside but if I try telling you on here I'm bound to forget something!
